February 2007 Five of our seven 2006 releases are now sold out at the winery. Cabernet Franc is very difficult to find in our retail outlets, and the Syrah will be the next to disappear. If you are interested in our Syrah, please try to find it before it's too late! Email us if you need a list of the retail outlets. Thank you!

and wine pairing: We had the great pleasure of having Chief Videographer Richard Nordstrom (www.thinktv.org) from ThinkTV, Dayton, film the last harvest of 2006 for a special PBS program to be broadcast the weekend of January 27. Details to follow. Richard
filmed the harvest and crush of the Petit Verdot. The day started out
foggy and cold and morphed into one of those perfect harvest days, a
rare beast this rainy year. Our thanks to ThinkTV (who put up with
multiple weather rescheduling), Our Ohio and the Farm Bureau. (click

Words on Wine:
Funny drinking quotes: "Sometimes
when I reflect back on all the wine I drink
I feel shame. Then
I look into the glass and think
about the workers in the vineyards and all
of their hopes
and dreams If I didn't drink this wine, they
might be out
of work and their dreams would be shattered.
Then I say
to myself, "It is better that I drink
this wine and let their
dreams come true than be selfish and worry
about my liver." Click here for more funny drinking quotes.
